A solution to a problem

Don Drummond loves to make bread. The active retired grandfather who loves to ski, hike and garden preferred to make his bread using his tilt-head KitchenAid® mixer. He liked that the mixer made it easy to make the bread but found that the mixer was heavy and cumbersome to take out of his pantry and to move around his kitchen. Each time he had to lift it, carry it and move it around the countertop he thought - there must be a better way. So being a little stubborn and a little inventive, he went to his basement and designed a wooden tray with fabric on the bottom to fit under his mixer. The wooden tray made it so easy to lift, carry and move the mixer… and to make his bread.

That was over 12 years ago. He was surprised to find there still was nothing commercially available to solve this simple problem. So, he took his original wooden tray design and developed a lighter, more modern tray - the caddy. The caddy is engineered to make your life easier while still keeping the integrity of the mixer.
