Don likes to bake - cookies, cakes but mostly various types of bread. And he is happy to have the amazing KitchenAid® mixer to help with his baking. But he didn't like that each time he baked he had to drag the mixer out of his pantry, precariously carry it to the counter and drag and bounce it to where he uses it, then repeat it again to store it when his baking is done. He eventually thought that there must be a better way but after extensive searching found nothing. So being a bit stubborn and a bit inventive he quickly created the original wooden version of what is now the KACaddy.

He happily used it for years - until one day he realized that while he was effortlessly sliding his mixer around the counter and easily lifting, carrying and sliding it into and out of a cupboard or pantry, hundreds of thousands of people were dragging and bouncing their mixer on their counter and struggling to lift, carry and store it in a cupboard or pantry.

That was the day that Don decided that he must make his wooden tray available to everyone. And he did - and it isn't made from wood but from strong, light and attractive ABS plastic with industrial quality felt fabric on the bottom to make it easy to slide. Now everyone can slide, lift and carry their wonderful KitchenAid® mixer and enjoy making bread, cakes, cookies, or anything else that you like using your mixer and the KACaddy.
